Vega Collegiate Academy

Vega Collegiate Academy is a public charter school in Aurora, Colorado that serves a 71% English Language Learner (ELL) student population and is one of the top performing schools in the state. But the local anti-charter school board tried to shut them down. Thankfully Colorado’s appeals process for charter schools kept the school open for the community. Now politicians across the country are trying to rollback the protections that kept Vega open.
